Even though it says August of 2007 I was at this hotel in August of 2005. I was at this hotel for a week,and enjoyed it emmensely. The food was great, the guest services was great,and they even had a fancy midevil pool. I recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking to get away bye your self or with your significant other. I really recommend this hotel ! Mycket Bra! Very good in swedish. If you are looking for a week with your wife or husband i would definately call up before you go especially for the midevil week the city hosts every year.

The Clarion Wisby hotel is a very cosy hotel in a convenient location near the ferries from the main land and in the middle of the Old City. We were impressed with the service, especially at the reception.
Reception: Fast and very service-minded. We got a nice upgrade and a lot of small benefits.
Rooms: Quite newly renovated. Not that big but nice furniture and colours.
Bathroom: Very clean and nice. Big window to the street, but no one can look in.
Breakfast: Very nice with very many choices.
Lobby: Very welcoming in a mix of modern and old fashioned.
WiFi: The charge extra. BAD!

The "Wisby" is a wonderful hotel in an old building. New and old fit perfect together. The single rooms are very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location in the old town. Only negative point: my bathroom was a bit smelly (don't know why). I would definitly go back.

Me and my husband spent two nights in this hotel in a larger than ordinary room. The room was on the 4th (highest) floor overlooking the town and not the sea. We had an excellent view over S:t Maria and the rest of Visby. The bed was really great. If I search for something to complain about the I'd mention that the shower was not that intuitive....
Nice berakfast with a wide choice of teas from the nearby quite famous teastore.

We got really valuable advice on were to eat etc from the ladies in the reception. They really wanted to help out.
