“Excellent food and a warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We have not stayed in the chalet itself but have been able to sample the cooking of the hostess, Julia and the genial hospitality of the host, Simon.
In summers, Julia and Simon run a bed and breakfast chalet. We booked our friends from Italy in there and they were delighted with the accomodation and the delicious breakfast.
For our part we have had dinner there (Julia offers evening meals in additrion to bed and breakfast). It was a perfectly prepared balanced vegetarian meal all freshly cooked with locally sourced produce. It was accompanied by an excellent local wine served by our host Simon who ensured that our glasses were never empty unless we protested "enough".. The dessert was a magnificent fresh berry pavlova. It was delicious. So much so, we took a photo; and I had seconds!

“A lovely Chalet Home with most welcoming and delightful Hosts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

A beautifully appointed Chalet home with most welcoming and delightful hosts in Simon and Julia who are possessed with very srong inter-personal skills.

Our room was spotless and well appointed with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a pleasant en-suite.

The location is close enough to Klosters however away from any busy roads. Ours was a Summer visit and therefore benefitted from the free local ski-lift and railway passes that are provided by the local authority.

We enjoyed very much pre-Dinner drinks and 2 evening meals with Simon and Julia who is an excellent cook - who's recipes my wife is already plagiarising!

Whilst we had mixed weather this did not spoil our enjoyment and Simon and Julia were most helpful with their suggestions for outings which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Room Tip: We favour a private en suite

“The warmest of welcomes”

Our large family group, ages ranging from 62 to 6, had a fantastic time at Chesa Flurina. Julia and Simon were warm, uncomplicated and extremely helpful with our quite complex logistics and just found what was best for us. Julia's cooking was great, her cakes outstanding! Simon had huge reserves of patience and local knowledge. The chalet is welcoming, bright and has spectacular views. I thoroughly recommend a family holiday with the Graemers as hosts. It must also be beautiful in the Summer!

“Simply super!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

Charming little cottage managed by a very nice couple. You feel more like being home than a guest. Rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished (all solid wood!), food is very good and a super breakfast. pity we could only stay one night on the way back home. I am sure it is a great place for winter holidays and also during the summer. If you plan to saty in the area go there without hesitations. Perfect both for families and honeymooners.

“Absolutely beautiful and exceptionally welcoming.”

The owners of the chalet deserve a medal. Their home/catered chalet is beautifully decorated and kept to a superb standard. The food is fantastic and overall the Julie and Simon (the owners) can not do enough to help you. This is a very luxurious yet homely ski chalet and is definitely suited for people who appreciate the finer things. I found their prices very reasonable considering the services they offer, breakfast, afternoon tea, evening meal, wine and they will drive you too and from the ski lifts too. They are fare superior to any package ski holiday that I have ever had. Definitely worth a return trip. The only negative was that it was a little far out of town but with a regular bus service and Simons offers to take us back and forth to the ski lifts this was hardly a problem
