We stayed here to go to my niece's wedding in Norderstedt, and were already happy with what the hotel had to offer, but were very impressed with all the staff when my 89 year-old mother fell ill the day after the wedding. They could not have been more caring and helpful. The receptionist (it was a Sunday) stayed on into the evening, long after she should have been off duty, made sure the doctor came, then waited for the ambulance to come and take my mother to hospital. She did everything she could to help.

The hotel itself is pleasant, clean, and comfortable, and provides a wonderful selection of hot and cold buffet food for breakfast. The rooms have a telephone and cable TV, and fresh linen and towels are always available. Our room was upstairs at the front, which meant that we had alot of traffic noise if the windows were open. As it rained for several days of our stay, the traffic noise was amplified by the wet road, but the windows are double-glazed and cut out the sound when closed. Considereing the other merits of the hotel, this was really a minor detail to us. We would most definitely stay here again, and recommend it highly.
