Villa Villino was a charming, cute country boutique hotel located in the middle of apple orchards. Our suite was magnificently beautiful, with cozy living room, nice comfortable bed and comforters, spacious bathroom with delightful candles, and balcony over-looking the apple orchard. It was quiet and peaceful there, a very enjoyable German country-side. Breakfast was of high quality and delicious. There was a lot of choices of freshly prepared dishes. Dinner was an excellently prepared and refined gourmet. Our only complain was that there wasn't enough of a selection of dry German red wines. Must do include hiking, biking around the Lake Constance (Bodensee), and spa at the hotel. The sauna and steam rooms were for mixed genders. Coming from Asia, this wasn't something that we were used to or felt comfortable with in the beginning, but knowing that this wasn't unusual in the culture there, we just "steeled our hearts" and walked in trying to appear nonchalant. hah! ok so that was an interesting experience! Overall, the hotel gave superb service and attention to quality.
