This is right outside of Cochem, on the Mosel River and a short, beautiful and relaxing walk to Cochem on the Promenade. I loved the walk to Cochem and even the walk in the opposite direction. It is within a 5 minute walk to the grocery store, which is a great place to stock up on drinks and snacks.

Our room was very large and the hotel provided a crib. My only complaint about the room was that the bathroom was very dated. The walls were a little thin, so I'm sure the neighbors heard the baby crying as I heard them talking.

The staff was neither overly friendly or rude. There wasn't an elevator in the hotel, so we had to carry our stroller to our room. There was an offer to leave it in the lobby, but I was uncomfortable doing that since there is a restaurant on property.

Traveling through the Mosel Valley was an enjoyable experience and the little town of Cochem was lovely. We thought the Park Hotel was very nice. Parking was a little tight, but no problem. I did not see an elevator and none was mentioned. The Park Hotel was on the main road through town, so obviously it was easy to find and within easy walking distance of restaurants, etc. along the river. We did not have dinner in the hotel, but wish we had -- the restaurant looked nice and the reputation of the Chef/Owner sounds like it would be a treat to eat there. We did find the breakfast to be top-notch. The room was comfortable, clean and adequate sized. Definitely we would like to return.

We had the large front room upstairs with charming French-style double bed, chandelier, elegant wardrobe--lovely! The owner is an Italian chef and treated us to an amazing appetizer that looked like a plate out of the Iron Chef show! The breakfast spread was abundant and each dish delicious. Location on the Mosel was ideal--with a beautiful view of the charming town of Cochem and quaint castle. I loved the friendliness of the owners. The wife helped us make phone calls on our family research mission. We even shared a bottle of wine during our last night there. I look forward to visiting them again!

The hotel was about 10 min walk from the centre, but along the mosel river and therefor nice view. Free parking. We had a room in a annex wich was not as good as in the hotel, but ok. Breakfast was very good. Fresh rolls, bacon and eggs, and various cheeses and meats. Cereals and jam. The restaurant looked nice, but we didn't try it.
