We booked the hotel for 1 night on our three-day trip to a friend's wedding in the nearby town. The room we had was facing the lake, it was spacious, but very dark and smelly..! At the beginning I thought it was because all the furnitures were old and dark and so were the curtains, the smells might also came from the carpet, but in the end we found out the smell came from the toliet...! There was no toothbrush, tooth paste, no ironing board or anything a usual 4 star hotels provide and the towels were small and thin. There was no kettle in the room, when we asked for one, the receptionist couldn't find one. The very breakfast was extremely poor, one of the worst I've ever experiece, very basic and no toaster for bread..!

The staffs were all friendly and helpful, but it is not a 4-star hotel in any rate, 2-star maybe? far too expensive for what it's offering..! definitely wil not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed in this hotel for one night. We had 2 room reservations and it was according our e-mail reservation. We had requested refurbished rooms, this in view of the comments made on Tripadvisor on the rooms before refurbishment. The rooms were superb. Well equipped with a very nice and clean bathroom. A shower that I can stand upright under (being 6 foot 4, 1m94). I work in the airline business and have much comparison material. Have seen much worse.
The staff was courteous and friendly, breakfast very very good.
It's a bit of a walk (some 20-30 minutes) to downtown as the location of the parkhotel is uphill.
I would certainly stay here again if I need accomodation in the vicinity in future.

Stayed here on a work trip some years ago. Very nice hotel with lovely views of Lake Constance. Food and beers were good.
