Excellent service, functional rooms, rich breakfast, nice pool.
As a bonus, guests receive KONUS card and Hochschwarzwald (Upper Black Forest) Card/ KONUS allows for free travel on local transport to Freiburg, Basel, etc.
Also you can visit for free the big water park Badenparadies or boating in Titisee.
The only drawback - all the information in the hotel is available only in German!

We stayed at Treschers for three nights in late December. The setting is stunning, right at the lake (which during our visit was solidly frozen), and in the heart of the small town. It was easy to navigate the town and its surroundings thanks to the excellent train and bus network. Our room at Treschers was very spacious, with maybe just the bathroom a notch below our expectations. The pool/spa area was extremely well done; it was fascinating to use the heated outdoor pool (water temperatur 30 degrees Celcius) facing the frozen lake. The massage jets in the indoor pool were quite powerful and really served their intended purpose; we felt great after each visit. We also found all the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We noted two drawbacks though: First, given that we stayed at the hotel during the Christmas season, the hotel insisted that we book halfboard--which we reluctantly did, given that our booking confirmation from a travel agency was for breakfast only. But the price (Euro 40 per meal per person excluding beverages) was too high compared to the quality offered, as also noted by other reviewers. And second, while we are used to seeing pets in European hotels, Treschers had an abundance of large dogs that guests brought along and paraded in all of the hotel's public areas. We were a bit stunned by the sheer number and size of these dogs. Overall, Treschers is certainly a nice place to stay at, and Titisee is a charming town to visit.

Travelled for 7 nights with my family, kids age 8 and 3, for 7 nights, was very good, stayed on B&B basis, breakfast was very good, not the coffee though you have all kinds of coffee to be served as part of the meal (they really try with the coffee but should use other kinds of coffee). Liked the location very much, titisee is beautiful and located close to many attractions and sightseeings, as well as switzweland - the rhein falls.
pool is nice but we preferred travelling, they accept credit cards, room was cleaned twice a day, and the hotel is clean and tidy. Ambiance is very good, with a unique terrace to spend a tranquilitte moment.
We are alreay missing and think of coming back for a short visit from Israel again.

The hotel is very nice, facing the small beautiful lake of Titisee. The staff is very friendly and helpful. the position is in the middle of the black forest in a touristic town.
The spa amenities are ok.
