We arrived at nine in the evening, got a nice room for à nice price. Had à nice meal next door. (nr 1 restaurant at tripadvisor)

I stayed in this Hotel when I visited Germany for a training program. It is conveniently located and has restaurants which serve wide range or gourmets. Rooms are clean and room service is prompt. The staffs were very pleasant and polite. The only disappointment is that they do not offer evening meals or snacks.

I would like to stay in the same hotel if I visit Ettlingen again

As the other review says should have asked for a room at the back to miss the early morning traffic but they have installed air cooling in the rooms so you can have windows closed. Sadly it was a bit noisy so did not sleep too well. Rooms are stylish and comfortable with lots of bathroom storage space. I was surprised it was done 10 years ago as very 21st century public areas and a living plants roof on the top floor where we were. Delighted to find 2 non smoking floors and no smoking signs in breakfast area. You can buy an internet connection card for 24 hours at only €2.90 which is great value (though I think it should always be free). Breakfast was generous with plenty of fesh fruits, breads and usual hot and cold things. All for €111 for two.

Had a nice salad based meal in Watt bistro next door and there is also a more upmarket restaurant there too. Looks like this historic property was the original hotel but now conferencing over there. An easy walk into the historic old town afterwards to get over the meal!

I've stayed at this hotel several times, both for business and leisure. It's an excellent hotel situated about 10 minutes walk from Ettlingen city centre. The rooms are reasonably sized, very modern, but functional. There is no real problem with the rooms looking over the street, which are brighter - there's little traffic at night.
The staff are all very helpful and welcoming.
The real outstanding element is the breakfast buffet, which is included in all room rates. It is really copious.
