We stayed at Gastehaus Gregory when we were passing through the area on a longer road trip. We spent two nights there to break up our trip and to explore Berchtesgaden and Konnigsee. This guest house is in a perfect location for exploring these and other beautiful sights in the area, including Salzburg. We had a nice corner room, which was quite large, with an en-suite bathroom. We had beautiful views from our windows looking out onto snow-capped peaks. We had a table and chairs in our room. They allowed us to stay there with our two cats, which was nice. The guest house is simple but clean and nice. It is not glamorous or elegant, but it is just fine. The owner was also extremely helpful and fun. The downside was that it was very hard to find - we drove in circles for 30 minutes and had to ask a number of people in neighboring villages how to find them. The house is kind of in the middle of nowhere. You would need a car to stay there. The map on the website was not very good. For the price of 46 Euro per night (total), we were very pleased.

Having read the reviews on several websites we booked initially for one night intending to travel on. however after three nights we were still there.

The location is great, the hotel was great value, the room was a good size, very clean and had on -suite shower room, but no baths only showers. We didnt book in advance so moved to differant rooms, we stahyed in rooms 10, 15, 17 and 5. Room 5 was very nice with a big and superking size bed, it was all very nice.

Christian the owner was very welcoming host and very helpful. If we had a question he would answer it or phone someone who could. He also gave us a lift to the Jennerbahn in his own car, very nice indeed.

The Bavarian Breakfast was more than ample, rolls, bread, fruit, cheese, meats, soft boiled eggs, cerials, coffee, juice. If you wanted move you could help yourself.

If you are thinking of staying here book it you will be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have liked a bath and a tv in the room, but then you are pushing up the price and catagory of accommadatation, for Euro 46 per night , for two, with brerakfast it was fantastic. Book it...................without any worries.

We have stayed here twice and each time it has exceeded our expectations.
The location and the area are outstanding.
The breakfast is excellent together with all the other services provided.
Christian is a superb host and is really helpful with planning your day.
We would return and recommended without any hesitation.
