Fantastic hotel situated in a fantastically quiet place close to a forest. The rooms are fine even if the bathroom needed some "update". After a glass Sekt at the reception, a basket of fruits/biscuits awaits in the room. Hotel has all amenities one could wish for : pool, sauna, garden...The gastronomic restaurant Ars Vivendi was a highlight of the stay. The food was fantastic from appetizers to dessert. Too bad the decoration (some sort of mix between roman and kitch) is not up to the food. Service was great. Also a more classical restaurant/Stube with very cosy tables and still great food. Breakfast has all you could wish for, from oysters & salmon to saussidge & eggs and the more classical breads/viennoiseries. Definitively a place to go to (and to come back to).

I stayed there for a week on a recent business trip to Siegen. I must say the stay was one of the most memorable trips I've ever taken. Although the location of the hotel (for daily business in Siegen) is a little bit of a drive, it was delightful to be able to get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city every day. It was well-worth the drive. I must compliment one of the executive staff by name - Mr. Andreas Gravius provided exceptional service although I was a challenging guest. He was very courteous and extremely professional. I gladly endorse this hotel and highly recommend it. I'm certain you will come away with great memories.

Lovely touch upon arrivval witha glass of bubbly by the fireplace and an afternoon gourmet buffet.
Countrystyle room-very cozy,lovely dinner with live music,2 bottles of complimentary wine with turn-down service ,rose petals on the floor....................
Breakfast-unbelivable.

I stayed here in May, for two nights. This is the second 2 night stop I've had here, both on business.

It really is an unusual place. So quirky, so friendly. I've not used the spa facilities, but they look superb. Food is stunning... and I've no idea how they put on such a breakfast spread, for the money!

The personal treatment you get is remarkable. Little unexpected gifts, some free drinks in your room, a personalised little daily mini-newsletter, where the staff extract a range of international and local news, each copy printed with the guest's name on there. I know that's not huge, but it illustrates the nature of the people running the place.

This is just a short review to back up the other 3 that are, at the time of writing, already on tripadvisor.... all of which quite rightly, rate this hotel very highly
