The staff was very friendly and the building is in the shadow of the castle. However my room may be the smallest I've ever been given since I stopped staying in hostels--and I've slept in a lot of small single rooms in Germany. (To be fair, when it came time to check out they did not charge me the full amount of my reservation, because they substituted such a tiny room.) Also be aware that if you are walking from the train station, it will take about 20 minutes.
No English stations on the TV. If I'd stayed more than one night in Quedlinburg, I would have moved to another hotel, probably one that is closer to the marktplatz.

Everything about this little hotel in the story-book town of Quedlinburg was delightful. The hotel itself is several centuries old but has all the modern conveniences required by today's travellers. Our room was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. A satisfying breakfast is served in a charming room by cheerful and helpful staff.

The hotel is situated in the heritage listed part of Quedlinburg and everything is in walking distance through cobbled streets and half-timbered buildings. The castle is literally across the street. We dream of returning one day!

“Perfect little hotel”

This was a lovely little hotel in the wonderful "World Heritage" town of Quedlinburg. The rooms were spacious and clean. Although the proprietor spoke limited English, she was very welcoming. The included buffet breakfast was beautifully presented and had some extra "treats" not generally included with typical German breakfast buffets. Free parking was provided and you could walk to everything in the town from this hotel. The price was very reasonable.
