We arrived at Residhotel L'Edelweiss at 9pm and because reception was closed arrangements had been made for check-in. However, we were told that we would be able to rent towels from the hotel and they had not made arrangements for this so we were left without towels until the next day. We were told that all rooms had a double bed and our room was supposed […] to be a one bedroom apartment for four people. The double bed turned out to be a pull out sofa-bed which was two singles, one on the sofa and one on the floor! Not a double bed by any stretch of the imagination. The "bedroom" was basically an alcove in the entrance to the apartment with two bunkbeds and no room for anything else. Thankfully there were only two of us in the apartment because four adults would have been a nightmare. Apartments are very small. The kitchenette was well equipped apart from having no kettle or toaster. The shower had no curtain so the bathroom got soaked after every shower. Check-out time was 10am at the latest and eventhough we offered to pay for a later check-out, we were told "NO". On leaving the residence, we asked them to store our luggage as we had to wait seven hours for our transfer to the airport only to be told that they have no luggage room and would not help us in any way even when we offered to pay them for keeping our suitcases. Overall, this was a bad experience at this hotel and we would not recommend it to anyone. The Les Deux Alpes resort has excellent skiing and we will return for another holiday but to a different hotel!
