Location great, just across the road from the beach, but that's about all. The interior is old and tired to say the least and is in desperate need of refurbishment. Got the impression that all costs are being kept to an absolute minimum and that nothing is being re-invested in the hotel.

We are so excited about this hotel that is difficult to find the words to express it! First, it is located in the most central position you can imagine: 50 m from the largest part of a sandy beach, across the street from a pizza restaurant, 25 meters from a food supermarket and 200 m from another one, surrounded by beachside restaurants with seafood menus (if you can eat something like that !), 300 m from the marina where you can take a boat trip to the islands or to St Tropez.... The building itself has a definite Provence scent, with huge stone rooms (at least no. 2-3 we stayed in), engulfed by vegetation and watched by 2 palmtrees in the parking lot. Parking is free and has 7 places in the garden and another 5 places on the other side of the house. We had very decent breakfast on the terrace facing the garden... Rooms at the upper floor have a terrace with view of the see. Check the satelitte photos on Google Earth. The staff is very helpful and the man at the front desk, that seems to be there 24/7, speeks at least english and italian very fluently ! And, very unusual for a French, he seems to enjoy talking to you in any of those languages,on any subject you choose. Our double room had an independentely run air condition unit in each of the rooms. And the price.... was very good ! Too bad they do not have internet acces!

We travelled from Spain though France and to Italy and Monaco. Of all the hotels we stayed this was probably the best. despite being a bit old and run down it had a lot going for it. First it is very conveniently located in the middle of town, we also had a great view of the coast from our balcony wrapped in an ancient vine providing an asdded charming ambience. Plenty of parking too! all this and it is rated as just a 2 star!! I have been in far worse 3 stars!!
