Stayed here for a week in the summer.
Located in a village close to St Jean de Monts, a short drive from the beaches.
We had a 'confort' room, which was a reasonable size with a verrandah overlooking the pool and car park. The bathroom was dated but ok with a bath and shower over the bath. A separate toilet which did smell a bit so we bought some smelly stuff to hide the wiff. It was clean tho'.
A small TV, a couple of chairs, wardrobe with shelves and a table provided sufficient furniture. The verandah had a table and two chairs too and was very pleasant to sit out with a martini before dinner.
Breakfast was buffet style with sufficient food available, bread, meat, cheese, eggs, croissants etc etc.
We ate here for the first two nights, then went out for a night in St Gilles. After that we always ate at La Chaumiere. The food is very good and excellent value with a menus from €15 for three courses. You could stay half board but have to eat in the 'breakfast room' which isn't as nice as the restaurant. We both put on half a stone in the week..........oops.
One thing is that the staff don't rush. Everything is done at a slow pace, but we were on holiday so didn't mind and was interesting to watch, you did get what you asked for, eventually !
We would be happy to stay here again.
