We've stayed here three times now, over the past 20 years. It hasn't changed much in all that time, judging by the carpets anyway. Rooms are typical, everything you need, but dated. I'd concur with the lengthy review in French here... If I understand it correctly ... You'd expect more for the money, despite the great service and ambience. Sadly St Nazaire is continuing its upheaval with the installation of a tramway going right past the hotel. This meant access was difficult and car parking worse. The welcome addition of an associated bar/bistro nearby (although through the roadworks) was useful offering somewhere to sit other than a reception area.
