Stayed for 3 nights from 12 - 15 July 2008, specifically to see some of the Tour de France.
The BW Le Miramont was an ideal spot and one of the most welcoming hotels I have ever stayed in. Dominique could not do enough for you and spoke perfect english, if you were not fluent in French.
All the staff made us feel welcome despite the language barrier.
Our room #109 was small but perfectly formed. The bed although very low to the floor was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a small bath with shower attachment, but no actual shower. This was a bit of an inconvenience, but nothing that could not be overcome. There was a fridge, a TV with mainly french channels and a small balcony complete with 2 chairs to sit out.
Breakfast was very pleasant - with cereals, pastries, bread, fruit salad, cheeses, meats, fresh & dried fruit and fruit juice. This cost 12 euros per person in addition to the room price.
We did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel as we were always out til late and the restaurant closed at 8.30pm
I would certainly return to this hotel, not only for the wonderful surrounding, but the warm welcome. Thanks again to Dominique and the team for making our stay so pleasant.
