Was a bit hesitant to choose this hotel as never been to the area, but it certainly deserve the good feedback you can see in other reviews. Even ground floor rooms have fantastic panorama (we have been in one of those), the staff were helpful, fast and efficient (both at check-in, check-out or during our stay). It really must have been renowated recently: the kitchen was brand new with full set of plates, pots and cutlery, plus quality microwave, fridge with freezer and even a dishwasher! Bathroom is large and clean with bathtub. TV included with a few (basically local) channels (didn't watch much, sorry :)). Beds are pull-out + convertible from an armchair (we used this one as second bed as it was more comfortable than the pull-out part of the "main" bed). Plenty of space and storage for 2, might have been a cramped for 3 (we had the studio). Loads of parking outside, never had to circle endlessly to park the car. Soundproofing seemed to be good: we never heard any disturbing noises from other apartmants besied or above.
Font Romeu itself has nice little restaurants, a well-equped "Shopi" store, plenty of bakeries with fantastic products and loads of places for buying or renting skiing equipment...we had a really nice holiday there.
