We stayed at Ninea last year in he summer. The place is perfect for families and children. We booked through a Dutch agency [--] . Indeed there were many dutch families and English. The food at the restaurant was excellent, the people at the reception very friendly.

We stayed here in September and were really disappointed. Contrary to the glowing description we had been given my the company we booked through we found the standard was extremely poor.

It's difficult to access with the entrance up a long and narrow dirt track which is unlit and dangerous to drive on at night. The villa was basic to say the least with an exposed plug socket right above the shower. Plus toilet didn't work.

We certainly didn't have a sea view and looked right into the next villa! Paving stones are extremely cracked and easy to trip on.What finished it off for us was the very loud sound of cement mixers at the crack of dawn!! Needless to say we didn't complete our stay here...

Swimming pool was nice however apart from swimming there is nothing to do on the resort. Without a car you would be totally stranded. Staff were sweet though.

Tropea itself is really beautiful. We'd return however never again to Ninea!

During the peak season, when all the Italians are in Calabria, we found a lovely quit place Ninea. It is a newly buld farmhouse with 20 very roomly apartments. the terrain needs a bit more green but that is the only negative thing I can tell about Ninea.

We have two children and it was so relaxing to know the kids could go about there way whilst we we sitting on our hugh covered terace, enjoying the beautiful views. als the the hospitality of Vittorio was hart warming.

The kids loved the large swimmingpool and obviously all the friends they have made there. To make a long story short. I'll be back. For us it is the combination the relax, childfriendly and the possibilty find a lot of thing to see and do in the neighboorhood.
