We had booked one of the quirky bungalows, but when we arrived were shown to a room in the main building. When I questioned this, the moody receptionist man told us that there were no bungalows available. The room we were given was large, and comfortable. However, we were not able to use the pool area as they was a wedding on later that day (and assume this is also why we didn't get a bungalow). We ate at the hotel that night, and it was fantastic value for great food, with brilliant staff.

We booked a one night stay as the hotel is just 20 mins from Birgi /Trapani airport.
We walked through the gates,past the illuminated swimming pool, which led to the 'igloos' (more like telly tubby houses)and with the warm evening and the music playing from a wedding reception it was shear magic.
Although we were planning to move on, we loved it so much we stayed another night and after travelling around Sicily we booked our last night back at the same hotel.
Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a feast,dinner was the best we tasted on the island and when we asked if we could vacate the room in the evening we were told it was no problem at all. All in all, a superb hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it. On this occasion the restaurant was closed and one of us was unfortunate enough to be ill. This meant a late check out. The staff were, as always, very kind. The management however charged us for a full extra nights stay for 4 hours extra use of the room.
Correct in law no doubt, but very harsh we thought as the hotel was virtually empty.
I wrote but received no reply.
We go this way often but not to Villa Favorita again.
