My wife and I stayed at the Alba Hotel for 4 nights and can completely endorse it as a comfortable place to stay in Marina Di Pietrasanta. The hotel is family run, and as such you are always speaking to an owner/proprietor. All people at the hotel were friendly, helpful and made our stay stress-free. We are from Canada so our italian is not great, however the staff were very accommodating at speaking english. We had dinner in the hotel dining room 2 nights. The food is well prepared and presented nicely. The dinners feature a buffet before the meal which is a great way to sample many regional appetizers. The morning breakfast was included in the rate and was served at a second level informal room with an outdoor terrace. There are also ground level patios for watching the street life and catching up on reading. The beach is about a ten minute walk away. And there are many restaurants within a 10 -15 minute walk. The hotel is children friendly and there were several families staying there as well. This gave it a warm character.

We would definitely return to the Alba on another trip.
