My wife and I stayed in Alle Torri for two nights recently. A small yet comfortable hotel. Well furnished, clean rooms and toilets. 2 huge super markets (Panorama and Penny) are about 15' walk. Breakfast is adequate. Bus to/ from Venice bus Station stop in front of gate. Airport is well connected. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is about 5-6 kilometer from Venice. Have bus connections which runs upto midnight but you may have to wait for 30 minutes. The rooms are medium sized, clean and comfortable. Staffs were helpful and speak good English. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. In my opinion, it is best value hotel near Venice if you dont mind traveling 20-30 minutes from Venice center.

We have been staying here for 7 days during the carnival. The hotel is very clean, good and polite personnel. Good breakfast. There are many nice pictures on walls. I haven't noticed any troubles with noise during the day (may be because we left it in the morning every day and returned on the evening). Buses go to Venice ("Venezia" is written on them) and to Mestre railway station (Nb 11 or 25 where you can get another bus to Venice). We returned till 22.00 without problems. It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to Venice. Later in the night you can get to the hotel on the 6B(somewhere it is named 6/) bus almost right to the hotel (go out on "Bottenigo" stop and you will need to go for some minutes further to reach it). We are very satisfied with the hotel because it is very good and cheap.

We stayed at this hotel in October 2010. Having read reviews we were expecting basic clean hotel which indeed it was but the location leaves a lot to be desired. It is so far from
Venice by comparison with many many others available. It is in an industrial area with prostitutes walking the filthy streets, not to mention dead cat on the sidewalk, large pylons,
desperately busy road - with traffic whizzing past at a crazy pace. The bus is across the road - sure enough - if you are lucky enough to survive the traffic whilst crossing and also to remain standing on the side of the road with the heavy traffic almost blowing you back on to the railway track below. The buses do not run on time and you may well have a long wait on this dangerous road for your bus. There are far better hotels in much much nicer areas nearer to Venice if you are looking for a hotel whilst waiting to board a cruise liner.
