“A beautiful oasis in a rather stark desert landscape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2011

This is not somewhere you would come on holiday, nor would you expect to find such a huge luxury hotel complex. Italy is full of surprises. This Hotel is excellent and very clean and modern with every comfort you could want, including a SPA complex.

The rooms were very well laid out with good quality furnishings and toiletries. The breakfast choice was great for Italy where their concept of breakfast extends only to a pre-packaged cake and a coffee.

Location is both a blessing and a curse, the hotel is approximately 5 KM from the town of Manfredonia where there is an Irish Pub and a fabulous restaurant called Cupolo Rosso, you need a car to get anywhere.

“Out of town but good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2010

Service was minimal but not rude. Just don't expect much help: this clearly is a business hotel designed more to hold small meetings than for the average tourist. Knowledge of area was lacking. This being said, if you're the type of person who plans on your own and is looking for clean, safe, easy to access hotel for a reasonable price, you'll be entirely satisfied. Restaurant is very good, with large portions (you are warned), but here again you should know what you want and not expect some kind of helpul recommendation of any sort.

“beutiful and modern”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2009

We all enjoyed this hotel. Not in the centre of a town but the amenities, quality of the rooms, service and physical layout excellent. We would have stayed longer if we could have.

“Not bad..not bad at all....”

Nice clean hotel, which was a surprise, as this place is fairly remote. The grounds around the hotel are well kept and clean, and the staff was very pleasent. If you are in that part of italy, then I would definetly consider this place.

Breakfast was a bit sparse, not bad I guess if you like cheese, ham and cereal...but for a week, not a problem. If you are staying longer, you may need to venture out for variety as the menu seems to stay consistent for all meals daily.

  • Liked — cleanliness
  • Disliked — wireless internet was not working half the time and costs a lot

“Clean, adequate facilities at good price”

My wife and I stayed for one night at Hotel Regio Manfredi on a Trafalgar bus tour. We stayed there on the way from Rome to Lecce. The hotel is a bit remote, so it is comparatively inexpensive. Probably it was established for pilgrims visiting holy spots in Gargano peninsula. It is an excellent resort hotel with a large swimming pool and facilities for conventions and group meetings. The building is quite modern. The rooms and bathrooms are adequate and not too small. The TV had BBC and CNN in English. The refrigerator worked well, and we were able to leave our ice pack with the staff overnight. It was frozen when we picked it up the next morning. It has a beautiful view of the cliffs of the Gargano peninsula (see photo) on one side and the Adriatic on the other (see photo). Wireless is available in the lobby and in the rooms for the reasonable rate of Euro 2 per hour. The reception desk is always well manned, and staff are available. We enjoyed our stay and the quality of the dinner. The breakfast consisted of cereal, ham, cheese, and fresh apples and oranges. We would stay there again if we were traveling by automobile.
