We were looking for a break in October hoping for a little late sunshine.
The hotel and Maiori did not disappoint however there are a few things to consider.
Oct. is the end of the holiday year and everything closing down. Weather can be changeable at short notice. The med. is cold.
The Amalfi coast is beautiful but can be crowded. If going again I would try mid- sept when the balance between people and traffic are best.
The hotel lived up to expectations- very clean, ideal situation on sea front, staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is a little dated and the beds are hard but those suffering from back problems may welcome. The food, although typically basic was varied, well cooked and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiters.
Getting around on local buses was easy although if going again would choose more central location. Everything goes from Amalfi!!!
Enjoyed week and would thoroughly recommend to others.

We stayed at this lovely hotel from 26thSeptember untill 4th October. We cannot fault this hotel in any way. The staff were always friendly,helpful and efficient. The dining room staff were outstanding, Mealtimes were a joy and a lovely part of our holiday. The food was always excellent and a good choice was always available. Rooms were well appointed and spotlessly clean. The hotel pool was good as was the private beach area on the seafront. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace at the front of the hotel with the view of the sea and a lovely view looking across the bay to Ravello.
The resort itself was great with a lovely promenade,shops and harbour. It was an excellent base to explore the Amalfi Coast.
We are alreay planning a return trip!!

My husband and I have just returned from an 11 night stay at this lovely hotel. Our honeymoon began with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine left on ice in our room. When we opened the balcony doors we were met by a fantastic view of the sea front and a magical view of the amalfi coastline. We arrived late (10.00pm) but the restaurant staff had stayed late to serve us a delicious cold supper of local cheese, meats and delicious olives. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The food was delicious but sometimes the portions were over generous, the staff were very willing to substitute other foods if the menu didn't suit. The hotel is in a prime position, and is close enough to local shops, bars and restaurants. This was our first trip to the amalfi coast and we feel we made the right choice in choosing maiori, it's a very friendly and relaxed little town and has much to offer. We will be back for another visit. Thank-you to the hotel staff for making our honeymoon so special . Neil and Val.

My husband and I returned from our wonderful holiday last week. This is the best hotel we have stayed in. It's location is perfect, across the road from it's own private beach, beautifully kept pool and surrounding area, all credit to the dedicated staff. This is such a "laid back resort" you can relax and unwind and you can visit the busier resorts using the local bus service. The hotel is kept spotlessley clean in all areas, the food and service in the dining room are excellent and the bar staff could not be more helpful. The maid service is excellent, our bed linen was changed regularly and we had fresh towels every day. The beds were the comfiest we have slept in abroad. We definitely want to return to this hotel and resort. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday. Irene
