We arrived in Lipari early in the morning and was surprised by the staff members getting a room ready for us. The receptionist was not only helpful in getting this done, but helped us take our luggage upstairs and settled us in the room by showing us around.

The Hotel is new, only recently opened up and is still in the process of finalising a few rooms. The facilities are clean and top of the range. The views from the Hotel were amazing and the location is central to the port and main streets.

In the evening the Hotel recommended an amazing restaurant down at the Marina. Being Italian I know you can get caught out by tourist crap, but this was authentic Sicilian cooking. Not only did they recommend it but they took us there and back via bus as it was a 10 minute walk.

Next morning the Hotel helped organise hydrofoil tickets to Salina for us and drove us down to the docks. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of selection.

Was our best hotel experience in Italy and willdefinately return next year!

This is actually a proper hotel, not a b&b and believe me - YOU WILL LOVE IT!
We booked a sea view room for 2 nights and it was perfect. The decor was excellent - moorish style in gentle colours such as white, grey, blue. Each room has a balcony where you can relax in the evening or watch the sun rise in the morning. And all you need is just there - from wifi to a flat screen tv and air conditioning.
The service was great and breakfast just perfect.
One important thing to mention: we spent the 3rd night in a room at the back of the hotel (mountain view) and it was next to the main and busy road so very noisy. Be sure to go for a sea view room.
Other tips: 10 min walk to the main street wih shops and restaurants, a bus ride to the closest beach, a shuttle service to/from port, great swimming pool and comfy deckchairs available for customers.

We were sent to this hotel because the air conditioning at Villa Enrique, where we had booked two nights, was not working. The hotel opened just a few months ago and it is a true gem. We stayed in an ocean view room with a balcony so I am not sure what the other rooms are like. The room was great and the views were stunning. We ate at the restaurant once; the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If we return to Lipari we will certainly stay at Hotel Mea again!

Excellent hotel - having just opened this year it is pristine! The decor was beautiful. In a quite location just out of the town, it is a good 10 minute walk to the port and town centre.

Absolutely stunning room - loved it! Lovely balcony area looking out over the sea, and over the pool area. Four poster bed, air conditioning and the bathroom was fab - it had a Whirlpool bath tub, and the shower was good too.

The staff were extremely helpful, and went above and beyond to make are stay perfect. On the morning we checked out, we had to leave very early so that we could get our boat from the port - the night porter not only drove us to the port, but he made us breakfast and a fresh cup of coffee before we left - which I thought was excellent cutomer service.

The hotel restaurant is FANTASTIC. Breakfast in the morning was a delight - great selection of food to choose from, really delicious! It was nice to be able to sit outside and eat too, and enjoy the beautiful sea view. We also ate dinner in the restaurant, which was superb. The food was of a extremely high standard and great value for money! We spent 3 weeks in Italy this summer and ate in a variety of places, and I can honestly say the food we had here was the best!

The pool area is lovely, and very relaxing. We loved every minute of our stay, and would definitely return.
