My wife and i looked forward to staying at this hotel and overall it has met our expectations. When checking in (Hotel Falcone exists out of 1 main building and 3 side buildings) you are not directly explained in what kind of building you stay. So we had to look a bit for our room. The buffets are very good. Breakfast is very busy and hectic. But in the afternoon and evening there is a pleasant athmosphere in the restaurant. Good personel, although some people walk around without motivation (poolbar). The childrens animation was pathetic, i felt for the girl that was supposed to look after kids. There were no kids at all during our stay that played in the animation so she sat there for 4 hours all alone, on a chair, doing nothing. The poolbar has a variety of drinks but at 22h it closes, so you are off on your own. For me and my wife that's a serious downside. you are forced to go in to town, and not have the opportunity to have a relaxing evening at the pool.
Overall good hotel, nice large pool, enough poolchairs, amazing food and friendly personal in the restaurant, your table is very quickly cleaned.
Poolbar is closed to quickly and the bike rental is a joke.

I stayed in April for 3 nights. The hotel Falcone is about 500 meters away from the beach, situated in a wonderful position close to the centre. The hotel has a large swimming pool, deck-chairs and umbrellas, tennis court, little play-park for children, a „poolbar“ (a Bar at the Pool, was closed during my stay), restaurant, free private parking area. The room was very clean, but a bit small, equipped with TV, direct dial telephone, mini safe, mini bar, airconditioning, bathroom very nice, the shower always hot and powerful, hairdryer and toiletries. I booked the half pension, great! The service at the restaurant and at the front desk was incedibly courteous and helpful.
