Very happy about the hotel accommodation at Hotel Milano. The room was renovated, new furniture, carpet and seemed recently painted. It appears that they renovated all the rooms, even the wide hotel hall had a new carpet.
We had a double room facing the lake, spacious enough for 2 (room 44). A nice size balcony with chairs and table.
The bathroom was large enough, also with new fixtures. There were some visible things that didn't seem to be renovated (like a crack in a tile, etc) but nothing really major to be bothered about.
Clean, nice, pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is facing the lake and you cross a one way street to get to the promenade. No big deal as it is a narrow street You do heard the noise from outside if you have a room facing the lake, that is only on the busy days or nights. In the room there is a wooden blind that you can roll down and helps with reducing the noise which is primarily from the people walking on the promenade.!
The hotel has a restaurant, although it was not open since we went off season. They do offer breakfast for 7€uro but you can easily go to one of the nearby cafes to get your coffee and a pastry or sandwich in an outside terrace.
Next to the restaurant and part of the hotel there is a barl. They also have a computer in the bar.
The hotel has a small parking lot right in front, however I don't know whether you need to pay and reserve. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Location:
On the one side of the hotel is the tourism office and on the other there is a gelateria.
You don't need a car in Iseo, you are within walking distance from the bus stop, train station, supermarket, boat docks to take the boat to different towns and Monte Isola, restaurants, even the Nature reserve. With nice weather walking is a nice alternative.
Definitely would stay here on a next trip to Iseo.
