We have just come back from a great stay at Hotel Alexander and have to say that it was simply wonderful. We did a week long's cycling holiday (be warned that cycling in this area can be quite brutal to the novice cyclist !). Everything about this hotel functioned perfectly under the guidance of Roberto (and Cynthia) - the staff perform with total efficiency and are extremely polite, helpful and engaging. The food is simply magnificent and of a very good restaurant standard. Careful attention has been paid in making all the little extras just right e.g. washing facilities for cycle clothing, free soft drinks in the mini bar, high quality toiletries, drinking water machine to fill cycle bottles, nice bar nibbles etc etc The hotel is also kept impeccably clean and the rooms are expertly serviced every day - we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the best cycling hotel we have experienced in the last 12 years of cycling holidays. This is not a stuffy 4-star hotel but is very warm and friendly as evidenced by the first greeting on arrival by Roberto and Cynthia....also special mention to Elvis - great barman and entertainer !!
