We recently spent 3 nights in this interesting and attractive city. The Hotel Carlton is in an excellent position, very central but also quiet. It is a smart hotel popular with business travellers and with generally very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in for a long time and the room was modern and well equipped. Breakfast wasn't its greatest achievement, but was perfectly adequate, and there was lots of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. We were particularly grateful for the Pizzeria Orsucci on our first night when it was pouring with rain. This excellent little place was about a minute's walk away.
