We stayed in the Mexico apartment which was delightful. Downstairs was a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and outside garden with al fresco dining. Upstairs was the bedroom and a huge sun terrace with two chairs and a sun lounger. There is also a high speed internet connection, you just ask at reception for the password and they will supply the lead too. It is in a quiet street but just one block away from the centre of Diano Marina with many restaurants, bars and ice cream shops (delicious). There are also a couple of supermarkets within a few minutes walk and we found the prices very cheap (1 euro for a litre of wine). Also there's a great deal of serious shopping to be done as the town has some beautiful shops. The apartments are owned by the Hotel Torino and the reception staff were always friendly and helpful. The apartments are also really convenenient for the train station and you can catch a train to lovely places such as San Remo, Alassio, Monte Carlo, etc. There was never a queue at the ticket office which was unusual compared to other train stations in Italy. We loved it and did not want to leave.
