Nice and clean. Car is needed, as there's nothing in a walking distance. 20 to 30 minutes driving distance from Florence, in a quiet suburb. Rooms are positioned around a garden, that is a little unkept. Breakfast is very basic, for a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless the waiter is extremely kind, and he does an excellent cappuccino with chocolate.

This hotel seems to be good vale for money as rooms are decent and new but you are definitely required to have a car to move to and from Florence. It will take not less than half an hour form the hotel to Florence city center. Also air conditioning in my room was EXTREMELY noisy and in order to sleep I had to put earplugs. The main road just outside the hotel does not make it the quietest location in Tuscany. The bathroom was apparently clean but as soon as I had hot water running from the shower a distinctive smell come from the walls of the not accurately cleaned tiles. I have a mixed feeling about my stay at the hotel. The location is OK if you want to escape the crowded center of Florence but at the same time a bit too far away and not quite as I expected. On the good side the owner of the hotel was on duty that night and she was quite professional and helpful. Other staff were not.

Clean hotel, but could do with a pool. Very peaceful. Need a car to move about. Nearby shopping centre in barberino is very good too.

Location is beautiful, but besides two little pizza restaurants there is really nothing there. Almost every room has a large private(!) garden, but unfortunately it is poorly maintained. Grass is too high, and you can find sigarettes and other waste in it. There are ants in the bathroom, and roosters and geese at the premises next door will surely wake you at 04:00 in the morning. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great if you like sweets.
