Took a gamble on this one as it was the cheapeast place we could find and had very little reviews. However it is part of the Europlan Group which has a very good reputation so we went for and were not disapointed!
Accomodation - ok the apartment was a bit dated but it was clean and provided all the things we needed and we were there to enjoy the outdoors. the sun terrace was fab, looked over the pool and the lake, perfect for breakfast/lunch/a glass of local wine.
Pool area - fantastic! outlook over lake and up into the hills, plenty of comfy sunbeds/unbrellas/tables. Huge deep pool and childrens pool. Clean.
Other facilties - they have tennis coaching, mini-club for kids, playground, beach volleyball.
Restaurant - We had lunch and dinner during the holiday. we personally thought the food was fantasitic, excellent salads, pasta, pizza, desserts. The staff were also happy to make anything on request. Didnt have breakfast however we bought fresh bread & coffee from them in the morning.
Location - it is as stated between Bardolino and Garda however 15mins walk as stated on their website is a bit optimistic! It is 15mins to the lakeside where there is cafes, swimming and watersports on hand. This part of the walk is steep on the way back and doesnt have any street-lighting in the evening. From the lake it is approx 15mins into Bardolino and 20mins in the opposite direction to Garda. The path along the lakeside is beautiful. we had a car which was very useful for those evenings we couldnt face the walk back up the hill and for going to the supermarket. On the plus-side, the location has an 'away from it all' feeling, it is very peaceful and was surrounding in beautiful landscapes with views over the lake.
Additonal things - friendly helpful staff, it was very quiet when we were there (June 09) although may be busier in height of summer.
