I held my recent birthday party at the Swiss Cottage and was joined by 25 family and friends. We all had a brilliant evening and the buffet was excellent. I didn't stay overnight as I live locally but my brothers and some other friends who had travelled from the mainland stayed for bed and breakfast and were very impressed with the overall standard of Swiss Cottage

Having recently attended an Anniversary Party at Swiss Cottage, I feel I must write to say what wonderful hosts Keith and Christine Beckett were. Although only a small hotel, we were fortunate enough to stay the night to avoid drinking and driving. Our bedroom was well decorated, clean, comfortable bed and the en-suite facilities were ideal. All rooms we were shown earlier were of the same high standard.

With regard to the food, the buffet was of excellent quality, plentiful and well presented. The full English breakfast was well cooked and exceeded our expectations.

I would not hesitate in recommending this small and friendly hotel to any friends or relations that will be visiting the Isle of Wight, as I am sure they will receive the same efficient and caring attention that was afforded to us ohn our brief visit.

We recently attended what can only be described as a superb function at this very friendly and welcoming hotel. The buffet was lovely (more than enough food to suit all tastes), also excellent value for money.
The whole atmosphere was brillient with great music and hospitality from Keith & Christine.
Living locally we chose not to stay over night, but being our first visit we had the oppotunity to look around and would certainly recommend 'The Swiss Cottage' to any of my family or friends visting the IOW. Well done for a great party and can't wait for another chance to revisit.

We enjoyed our visit to Shanklin's Swiss Cottage hotel immensely. The rooms are modern, freshly painted, and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were great and filling and Keith and Christine were very brilliant hosts. We were also invited to an open evening party there and the evening turned out to be a great success with a delicious buffet laid on and music provided which made for a very pleasant evening. We were invited to look around the unoccupied rooms which were all of the same high standard and we would highly recommend Swiss Cottage Hotel to anyone who's looking for a super holiday break.
