“Superb food huge helpings and Draft Guinness just what holidaying is about.”

We always love the Isle and always eat at Vernon Cottage. This year it has new owners and new decor, the gardens are better kept than ever and food superb. The menu is so extensive it is hard to know what to have but I settled for a beautiful bit of steak with the best fries I have ever tasted. After a long walk along the beach we went back for a memorable cream tea in the afternoon sun.

“The best on the Island!”

If you want great food, excellent service in a friendly atmosphere and good value for money, this is the place to go.

Great location, picturesque property and nice gardens, right in the middle of Shanklin.

Try the home made sones and cream tea, they're a must. All baked on the premises.
