“Friendly and Stylish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

We stayed during Bestival. Not as close to the site as i had hoped but the room on the second floor was a lovely surprise boutique

We stayed in a room on the second floor was a lovely surprise. It was very comfortable and Boutique in style. The breakfast was probably the best i have eaten in any Hotel or guest house for both choice and quality.
We stayed during Bestival. Not as close to the site as i had hoped but i would definitely stay here again as the welcome was warm and friendly and the location was very good for a short stroll to the seafront. It was also spotlessly clean.
Excellent!

“Clean, Friendly and Super Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

This is a guest house, not an hotel but it certainly is a four star guest house.
The room was really well presented and beautifully clean. The only down side for us bungalow dwellers was that we were on the second floor and that meant two flights of stairs.
The breakfasts were truly excellent. We are cruisers and are used to really good food and this was in the same league. There was a lot of choice and the food was really well cooked and presented and that after a very wide choice of fruit and cereals and then lots of toast and coffee. A great start to the day.
The Fawley may not be in the Old Town where we really wanted to be but it was a lot cheaper than many and conveniently placed for the Esplanade and beach and there were no parking problems.
Would certainly recommend

“Comfortable and Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

This guest house is convenient for the beach, town and the old village. The breakfast is very good, using good quality ingredients with a wide choice if a full English is not for you.
The family room was a good size and very comfortable, but I was a little taken aback when I was told that access was via an outside fire escape, or through the owners store rooms. Although this did not deter my enjoyment, it felt more like staying in an annex, I feel that if this continues, future guests should be made aware, especially if children are staying.

“Spotless room and fantastic breakfast menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

We stayed here for one night before the start of Bestival. Room was absolutely spotless and decorated nicely, really modern and comfortable. Lots of choice for breakfast which was delicious.Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location, right near the beach. Would recommend.

“Highly Recommended Accomodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

From the minute we stepped in, we had a very friendly & warm welcome. The room we had (superior) was spotless & tastefully decorated. Gillian & Andy were very helpful with advise on the best restaurants / places to see etc. Nothing was too much trouble for anything we requested. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, and we could not help ourselves in ordering a "Full English" every morning. The hospitallity tray in the room was plentiful, with additional top ups on each landing. Everthing was top notch, but would not expect anything less from a Yorkshire Lass, with a bit of help from a Brummy ?? sorry Yammi. Would definately return and also reccomend to anyone thinking of visiting the island. Overall it made our 4 day stay very enjoyable.
