Fantastic hotel, very welcoming by Kevin, Rose & of course Chris the waiter. We have stayed here 3yrs running, this year my in laws stayed in the Alverston suite which was lovely & we were in the adjacent room both with balconies. The rooms both very comfortable, ours had 2rooms with kids in 1 room with bunk beds own TV very popular with the kids & us!! TV for us too with Tea & coffee making facilities with lots of biscuits which we had to get in there first before the kids!! Plenty of fresh towels.
Lovely breakfast which saw us through till tea time, plenty of choice.
There is a very relaxed atmosphere at the hotel & nothing is ever a problem. My brother in law who is mentally disabled had a seizure just as we were supposed to be coming for breakfast & Kevin said not to worry he would cook my in laws breakfast & take it up for them, it just makes things so much easier in life when you have someone thats thoughtful & understanding.
You cant get much better than this location with the beach on the doorstep & buses that run frequently to the top of town where you can then get other buses else where. We travelled from Brighton to Shanklin by public transport & it was so easy .
Looking forward to next year dont want to say to much more or there might not be any room when we want to go again but then again we have been penciled in already for next year just in case!!
