There is simply nothing bad to say about Sonachan House. From the welcome pot of tea on arrival, the friendly hosts have created something close to the perfect B&B here. It's a highly competitive area, but Sonachan House wins on both quality AND price, which takes some doing!

As a single traveller on business, I had a pleasant room with excellent WiFi and a very good flatscreen TV with all the channels. The towels deserve a special mention - beautiful high-quality luxurious towels, and even a face flannel! So many touches that I would expect from a much more expensive guest house. Lovely breakfast too.

I shall certainly be returning.

We have stayed at Sonachan House several times and have always received a really warm welcome from Tony & Julie. There's a relaxed atmosphere and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food is delicious, the banoffee pie is to die for!

The moment you walk through the door is just like being home from home.
The hotel is just a short distance from Paignton & Goodrington seafronts, shops, bus & train stations where you can travel to other parts of the region easily. On site car parking, gardens, Freeview televisions in all rooms, Wi-Fi, fully stocked bar, large comfortable lounge, ground floor bedrooms available, special offers at certain times of the year and much much more.

We were greeted in a very friendly way, with the offer of tea and biscuits. The room was very clean and had all you could require. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. (Lots of coat hangers in the wardrobe girls). Hair dryer, only a little thing but plenty of power. After a walk the beach front we went back to the B & B and had a couple of drinks and a friendly chat with the owners. We had a very comfortable night. The range of food offered for breakfast was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection, my partner made the most of the cooked breakfast, but as I am on a diet I went for fruit and yoghurt, so there is a selection for all.
We only stayed 2 nights, but at breakfast the next day they had noted all our requirements.
Best B & B we have ever stayed at.
