we are regular visitors to torbay but this was our first stay at the torbay sands .what a location, only yards from the sea and quiet preston beach ,this hotel is situated in a cul.de.sac. so sees little traffic.carol and martin are lovely people ,and run the hotel in a friendly and efficient manner.our sea view room had amazing views and at night the only sound to be heard was the sea.there was a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel .Breakfast ,which was excellent,was served in the dining room overlooking the sea .If you are looking for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings with good food and good company this is for you .

we have been returning to stay at TORBAY SANDS HOTEL FOR FIVE YEARS. you could not find better hosts in MARTIN AND CAROL,.the position of the hotel could not be better,just across a small road from the beach,at the quieter end of paignton,but near all amenities,the hotel is immaculate,inside and out..the BREAKFAST is first rate,well cooked and plenty of it,we have traveled widely, here and on the continant and could not find better.NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THIS WONDERFUL COUPLE.the view across TORBAY from the hotel could not be better,to wake up,sit up in bed,look out of window and see DOLPHINS playing just yards away in the water,the memory will stay with us for ever.WE WILL RETURN,

Just arrived back from a 3 nights stay at this fantastic hotel----- so what can you write about a Hotel that already has great reviews,my Wife and i can only say a Huge Thank You to Carol & Martin (Dave Martin) who have both worked so hard to make this Hotel the high standard that it is today. From your Arrival greetings to when you leave,nothing is too much trouble from this happy couple, who strive to make sure that your stay is so enjoyable. The Breakfast are excellant and with a fantastic view across the Bay its almost sure to set you up for the day.The Hotel is in an Ideal location for a steady level walk along the Sea Front into Paignton. Well looked after by Carol and Martin, excellent breakfast nothing was only trouble for this lovely couple, would stay there again if in the vicinity.
