Thank you for a lovely stay - booked after looking on trip adviser as the usual place we stay did not have any vacancies for the Bank Holiday Weekend. Only wish we had stayed 3 nights instead of 2. Our room was up lots of stairs but the view was well worth it - I kept the curtains open all night to see the illuminations at night and the beautiful sunrise in the morning. Great breakfast - ample and well presented. Nice room with outstanding views, I thought that the traffic noise may be an issue - but it all goes away really early. Excellent off road parking and real friendly hosts.
Previous reviewer was spot on with their review re decoration etc. - I LOVE Paignton!!! Look forward to staying at the Cherry Tree again soon.

What a lucky find! A very last minute booking and booked solely on the strength that they had a family room available. However we were really pleasantly surprised. This is an old school B and B - pink painted woodchip, chintz and tinned fruit for breakfast but it is scrupulously clean, the beds small but very comfortable and plenty of water pressure in the shower. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast good with a vegetarian option.

Hosts Trish and Alan were very friendly and their family to! nothing was too much trouble, I went with my elderly mum and they changed the chair in our room as it was too low for her. The room was clean and fresh with lovely sea views, Breakfast was great and lots of it! Very useful stairlift down to the dining area and bar, we will definitely be back!!

the service we received from the owners trish & alan was first class they were so friendly the moment we arrived.our room was so clean and fresh with supberb sea views.the breakfast was to die for.definatly recomened this hotel.we will be back
