Arrived at the richmond just after lunch time on friday 29th of april,for the bmad festival!
Was greeted by Rick,who showed us to our room,we had room 7 on the top floor.The room had everything we required for a very pleasant stay,nice comfy bed,toiletries were provided and plenty of tea,coffee,milk,biscuits etc.Lovely hot shower,with lovely fluffy towels!Everything spotlessly clean,the toilet was just across the landing from us,and we knew this before we booked,because it was explained to us,this was however no problem at all,after we unpacked,we were also offered tea and cake!
There was also a street party going on for the royal wedding,and we were offered to join this too if we had wanted,which was a very nice thought!
Breakfast was served between 8.30 and 9.00,and was very nice too!!juice and a good choice of cereals to start,i can highly recommend the luxury muesli,was delicious!
Plenty of tea and coffee,and as much toast as you could eat,with lots of jams,marmalades and honey to choose from!Must also add the devonshire tea was lovely!
Rick and Alison made our stay a very enjoyable one,nothing was too much trouble,and they always went out of there way to stop and chat!!
They recommended a lovely chinese buffet for us,and even come out to see us off when we left!!
I would recommend this guest house to anyone without a doubt,and i really can't understand what the 1st reviewer would have to complain about,but everyone is entitled to there opinion!
The richmond is only a 2 min walk to paignton green,and a 5/10 min walk to the town,its located in a quiet area and you get a great nights sleep!!
