We stayed here for a weekend and after tasting the breakfast (no watery bacon etc here - all locally sourced tasty stuff) decided to book an evening meal too. We were not disappointed. The food was home cooked and delicious and the service great. The couple who run the pub manage to look after you really well without being intrusive, which is a rare art. Not coming from the area we travelled by train but would use a car if we visited again as the bus service is rather erratic and taxis to the centre about £10 each way. Would recommend it.
Room Tip: All rooms must have good view. The pub stands alone surrounded by fields.
