Just had a weekend visiting family in Yorkshire and stayed at the Days Inn. Clean, comfortable and efficient. Didn't take the continental breakfast as it seemed quite expensive for what you got. There's an M&S convenience store right next door where you can get snacks, cereals etc. so we did-it-ourselves. Hotel staff are very helpful with lots of local area activities ideas and help with taxis.

We where given a ground floor room overlooking the carpark so we asked for one on the quieter side. This was done immediately without any fuss at all and we had a great stay with lovely rural views.

Hotel is very easy to find, at the Wetherby Service area on the A1(M) and then easy acess to the town. For a great fish & chip supper try the Wetherby Whaler in the town centre.

Second time at this Hotel and it is still excellent and great value for money

stopped two nights on ground floor , odd number so looked out over carpark and never heard anthing so great sound proof rooms
rooms large and spacious with king bed and soft bedding extra pillows in room
nice table and tv unit mounted on wall with freeview channels
large wet room with great fast hot shower and toilet sink unit
hotel has carparking just give reg at reception to avoid charges
staff great on the desk on arrival( wed 18 12) has slight issue with paperwork but female staff member sorted it with no fuss she has great customer satisfaction!!
breakfast again faultless with everything for continental french breads hams cheeses bread / toaster fresh fruit yogurts coffee machine and orange/apple juice cereals and all help yourself . you can sit in the large spacious lounge where you can access the wifi

Booked here for a 2 night Bed & Breakfast break from 29th to 31st Dec 2011. £80 for 2 for 2 nights.
We were impressed by this hotel. The positive reviews previously were found to be correct. All the staff we encountered were, friendly , polite and efficient. The room was excellent, being warm and inviting and being well furnished to a good standard and ok for size. The bathroom had quality furnishings and an impressive shower / wet area. Free internet connection in the room was by LAN cable ( not WiFi) but was very fast and worked well. The room standard was much better than the standard Premier Inn equivalent type offering.
The breakfast buffet was acceptable with a reasonable range of ham, cheeses, yoghurt, cereals etc.on offer. The breakfast area was fairly crowded on our first morning as there some families staying and obviously preparing for a local wedding.
Do not be put off by the first impression as the hotel is in a motorway services area and shares the car park. The hotel car parking arrangements were free and worked smoothly. There was no noise in the bedroom. The only areas for improvement would be to provide a larger DIY toast area to avoid bottlenecks and to make the available seating area for breakfasts larger. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would seek out Days Inns again based on this experience..
