Just returned from 2 nights at the Windsor.
The Hotel is in a superb location, right on the beach in a quiet cul de sac and only 5 minutes walk from the centre.
We had a family suite, which comprised of two adjoining rooms, one with a stunning sea view. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The owners were very welcoming and did a great cooked breakfast.
Had no trouble parking a few roads back from the seafront behind the hotel.
Great value for money.

Lovely welcome and felt well looked after. Hotel was clean and fresh and breakfast was A*! Couldnt have asked for more. Owner very helpful snd fun! Our stay here was fab.

My heart sank when we found the Windsor "Hotel" - when the front door is locked and there is no parking you know you're at a B&B not a Hotel.
No bar or lounge or restaurant - just narrow stairs (no lift) upto a 60's style room (Woodchip/anaglpypta and carpet in the smallest en-suite I have ever seen -wash basin so small it was impossible to fill the kettle from it.
Would have much preferred to pay more money for a hotel where you could at least sit and read in the lounge after an evening meal out, felt calling this very dated guest house a "Hotel" is totally misleading and surprised it's allowed under the Trades Description Act. I did try and book the Premier Inn which is half the price and in a different leaque but it was fully booked -and it is easy to see why.

Have already booked to stay again soon,it's that good! Location fab, right on beach,breakfast just what we wanted-lots of it and lots of choice, cooked like you do at home (but better because someone else has done it !). Owners were perfect hosts too and really helpful and friendly. Our twin room was very comfortably furnished with good shower and a nicely stocked tea tray including bottled water. You'd be pushed to find better accommodation at the same price in Weymouth.
