“Excellent park”

Stayed at Weymouth Bay and Littlesea and both areof a high standard. We had a lovely caravan on both occasions although we did upgrade to a luxury both times. We preferredthe entertainment room at Weymouth Bay butthe entertainment itself was good forthe kids. The mini golf is very good at Littlesea and it has a lovely setting. Not far from Weymouth town in case you want a visit. The Customer service was excellent as we were not happy being too far fromthe complex when we checked in sothey moved us with no quibble.

“Another great stay”

We are a family of 4 and stayed at Littlesea at half term for the 2nd time this year.
As with the previous visit all the staff we encountered (including the Security team) were helpful and very pleasant.
The caravan we had was very clean and in good condition. The whole site is well presented.
Our only issue was how busy the entertainment complex was in the evening. If you turn up after 6.30pm there is no seating - but I guess that's the school holidays for you.
Looking forward to returning in 2012.

“DELUXE NOT SO DELUXE !”

We arrived 20 mins early on early check in and gave a mobile number to be called when ready [some people already had keys] This did not happen went back at 3.15 and eventually got keys, other 4pm check ins got thier keys while i was waiting.Tired from the drive we unpacked beforechecking the caravan, [ A DELUXE 3 BED PRIVATELY OWNED BOOKED ON SUN HOLIDAY WITH 2 UPGRADES] .BIG MISTAKE. The main bed made up on arrival [PAYABLE] was buckled had to put a tin of tuna under it to stop it rocking surely this would have been noticed making the bed ! .The toilet seat had a sanitised sticker around the lid but the actual seat was snapped,an old break. ,We reported this and it was fixed. The teledvd was state of the Ark not state of the art .Cupboard handles were all sticky .Blind in the bathroom was broken . Wrote to site twice to complain , was fobbed off with a single upgrade .HAVEN ARE USUALLY MUCH BETTER THAN THIS! HAVE USED 20 + TIMES BEFORE.

Room Tip: Always check caravan before you unpack then you can change or upgrade !.

“Great Half Term Break”

First stay at a Haven Park and we were extremely impressed. Caravan was immaculate and well equipped. We had central heating which was unexpected, but realised that this is a necessity this time of the year and would upgrade if book again.

All staff were welcoming and helpful, even guys at the barrier on entering the park.

We went down for the evening entertainment on our second night, but very loud and extremely busy with nowhere to sit. Wasn't really our 'thing' so didn't go back again. However food served in the Mash and Barrel was amazing and reasonably priced. Outside patio area really lovely and enjoyed having breakfast out there in the sun on our last morning.

Indoor pool nice but not really spacious enough for the amount of caravans on site.

Will definitely return to Littlesea.

Room Tip: Central heating needed in the colder months.

“what a great park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

This is just to echo the great comments made by others on the site. We went for a short break with a 5 month old baby. The facilities and activities are great for kids and we will definitely go again when our son is older. The Superior Van we booked was an ok size for a young family, and it was clean and tidy - although the kitchen utensils were not particularly comprehensive...but we didn't go there to cook!!! We went to the pool early and it was not very busy, so was great for us to try out our boy's first swim. He also met the characters at the character breakfast on our last day at the Mash and Barrel, which amazingly he loved and didn't scream the place down as we expected! The food was good, and although they were very efficient and friendly, we did hear a waitress say to someone else it's always very busy on a Friday morning. We've never been on a holiday camp holiday before as a couple, and it was great, just the right amount of cheese for kids! All the staff, from reception to security were really friendly and you could tell they enjoyed their job.

The coastal walk along Chesil beach from the site was great and there seemed to be a good balance between indoor and outdoor activities. The site seemed very secluded and peaceful, despite it being half term, and yet it was very close to Portland and Weymouth and lots of other places of interest in the area. The sunsets across the fleet were amazing.

When we go again or when recommending the site to others we would say to remember to bring things like oven gloves and a bath mat and extra kitchen utensils if you are planning on cooking. The Fish and Chips up by the park entrance were amazing...much better than the ones onsite looked. There is a Tesco express by the Esso garage about 5 mins away from the site - (right when you get to the main road out of the park) which was pretty well stocked, bit better than the Spa onsite.

We had a great time and hope to go again soon.

Room Tip: ask for a van away from the entertainment complex as it could be a bit noisy on "party" ni...
