“seashore very good...”

well.. where do i start i can say that the staff are very friendly, bar is cheep, entertainment is ok can get very boring because there is never any disco time need less entertainment and they need more music and discos.
SWIMMING POOL: very good nice pool never busy nice kids area to also great slides one a little slow but other wise great.
EATING:we just got a delivery to the caravan so we did that before going to the bar, but we did go ones to the mash and barrel the wi-fi is fast and get very good signal also food is great and also a very nice children area.
outside of the mash and barrel is a play area with trampolining, bounce castle and crazy golf what is all free.
ACCOMMODATION: clean gets very cold we did have little mini heaters in are bedrooms but this done nothing as these hat to be turn't on every 4 hours as they had timers and the max was 4 hours also you have a gas heater in the living room/kitchen but i had one thing we hat to call out security two times because the gas heater ignition broke twice (but we was the last people to stay in this caravan).

TOTAL:
very nice place and would love to go again.

Room Tip: i would recommend you have a room deluxe and above

“Fab half term break for kiddies”

We have just spent half term at seaahore with sun holidays and had a great time!
Haven is perfect for the kiddies!
We upgrades our caravan and it was 5star! Massive ensuit bedroom and my little lads room massive too! Mash and barrel pub just over road from us perfect! The soft play area in the pub not the safest and they don't clean the tables quick enough but good variety of food and food nice!
The showbar is fab and the entetaient brilliant but we had to get in at 5.30 to get good table for kids show at 6.30 so had to sit through bingo and kids had to be quiet for half hour!
All in all a great break!! Yarmouth is lovely lots to do and nice places to eat! Will defo go back!

“Nice Site, Great Location for Yarmouth!”

Recently went back to this site with my 2 friends and their toddlers, got there around half 1 and check-in wasn't until 4 but they said our caravan was ready. Went to the first caravan which was a little run down and worse for wear - not suitable for 2 little ones, and quite a walk from the main showbar etc. Went back to reception to explain and the very lovely lady who served us, got a new caravan just a 2 minute walk from the pool and showbar, was clean and spacious so no complaints - we also had a large grass area in front of the caravan which the kids could run around on. Showbar or "live lounge" as it's now known, and arcade has all been updated since my last visit, pool was nice - little bit chilly in the kids area and lifeguards could have been more on the ball - most looked bored and were staring at their laps. Mash and barrel was reasonably priced and clean/spacious, kids play area was good aswell for the little ones. Kids entertainment was well received by the 2 toddlers who had a briliant time running around and dancing along to the songs and with the funstars. Got the train from the site to Great Yarmouth centre and seafront, quite expensive but again brilliant for the kids and easier/cheaper than trying to find parking in the centre! Stops at the pier entrance, and runs every half hour. Easy location to reach other places such as hemsby, scratby which are only a 5/10 minute drive away. Can't fault the staff here at all - so helpful and friendly! Great location of caravan for us and would come back as the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves - and nackered us out in the process (free bouncy castle on site was fantastic aswell!)

Room Tip: Gannet (the name of the part where we stayed) is very central and close to everything :)

Had been to this site a few years ago on the 'sun' deal which we quite enjoyed so we decided on another visit. We booked independantly and paid full price, chose a 'superior' caravan for extra comfort. Totally disappointed. The caravan was old and tatty. Worst of all was the state of the upholstery on the seating areas, so stained and dirty. Why do they let it get into this state. There are upholstery cleaning products so why aren't they used. There is no excuse for this. They are obviously not bothered about their customers or about return trade. I do not blame the cleaners as the kitchen, shower, toilet areas and the bedding were clean, but surely it is the responsibility of a supervisor to oversea the state of the caravans. They should be sacked.

If you still want to go to this site avoid Caravan No. 40 - Herring.

“pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

Had a 4 night break here with the sun holiday deal so was a bit worried as to what we would be allocated !! but we need not have worried. We were given a privatley owned caravan which was very clean and modern with plently of room for the 4 of us although a travel cot will only fit in the lounge and not any of the bedrooms but there was a pull out bed so we could still be in the same room as our youngest son
We used the holiday park as a base so didnt take part in any of the activities on offer although the ones you have to pay for seemed a bit pricy to me. There is a good play park, bouncy castle and soft play area for the children. The swimming pool was clean and had an area to sit and watch if you didnt want to swim. The food in the mash and barrell was reasonalbe priced for nice pub grub. We didnt get a chance to witness any entertainment as my soon is not yet 2 and was more interested in the arcades then dancing ! The on site spa was a bit rubbish with not much choice.
Yarmouth itself is a typical seaside town lots of tac shops and cafes. Harry Ramsdan was not worth the visit our sons kids meal was the same size as ours for the half the price ! and the place was filthy. If you have little ones then i recommend a trip to pettits although in the height of season i can see it getting very busy and having to wait for the rides. There is lots to do there a mini fun fair, shows, animals, arcades and a big paly area. I recommend taking a picnic with you as i dont recall seeing many places to eat with the park.
All in all we had a good time and was blessed with good weather espically for the end of september.

Room Tip: ask for a privatley own caravan
