“Call in Alex Polizzi, the Hotel Inspector. (Seriously)”
Me & my husband were put in a upgrade room (family room) what for we don`t know. With the upgrade came very noticeable damp patches on the ceiling, and a hole in the wall behind the curtains. The radiator would not work, so with the damp it was cold during the night. Intergrating guests with their family does not go down well, e.g family members and pets seem to use the guests lounge. My husband is asthmatic so we could not go into the lounge, due to the cat being in the so called guest lounge.

Oh dear what can you say about some guests!
They were given an en-suite room at just £35 a night including breakfast, yet they still complain - but not to us during their stay, oh no - we just found out about this review from another guest!
The room does not have damp patches on the ceiling - there is a patch where previous owners have had to fix a hole or crack - but not a damp patch.
As for the radiator not working - I guess they didn't know how to turn the numbered knob to switch it on!!! They only stayed for 3 nights, so I guess it was too much for them to ask after the first nights stay...
As for their last comments - we are a GUEST HOUSE, not a hotel, a house where the owners live. Perhaps if they had mentined asthma when they booked, we would have mentioned we had a cat, and they might have booked elsewhere.
We are proud or our otherwise excellent ratings through another on-line booking website - there will always be those guests you cannot please, but the comments made here are misguided at best, if not just plain lies.
