Pinecroft B & B has just one double room with a double bed and a single bed. It is an extension of a family home in the beautiful countryside of the New Forest. It has a private entrance (you are given a key), the room is of an adequate size for two people and possibly a young child. It is light an airy, with a TV, towels and tea and coffee making facilities. The room connects to the family's dining room and you are also supplied with a key. On arrival you are asked when you would like breakfast and we were given tea and biscuits. Which was a nice welcome. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. They used good quality locally sourced food and there was cereal, toast and a cooked breakfast, juice and hot drinks. The bathroom was adequate but the shower was old but satisfactory. It is definetly not luxurious! But it met our needs. Pinecroft has some good pubs in walking distance and a garage is nearby with a mini supermarket.
The only drawback is that it does lack privacy and we were woken up by the family's small child on our first night. We didn't mind too much but if your looking for a romantic getaway then this isn't the place for you! Pinecroft has a web page, but the prices are incorrect and are actually £65 pppn.
