“Combining rustic surroundings with peace and all mod cons, what more could you want?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

I was recommended to try staying here by a friend as I have to visit the area regularly for work and was very pleasantly surprised, as the local hotels can be pretty basic, very cramped and the service is a bit hit and miss. They also tend to be on main throughfares and noisy! after all that travelling I just want some peace and a good nights sleep!

The exterior of Court Farm Barns is a very attractive converted barn, there are two seperate suites, with their own front door.

As you walk in you are greeted by fabulous wooden flooring that fits really well with the colour scheme and 'tone'. The decor is a bit of a mix of plain colours with big splashes of colour in the artwork.

You have a separate sitting area with everything necessary to relax, ie: kettle, fridge, toaster, sofa, dining table, TV and Internet.

In the corner of the main room there is an amazing spiral staircase that takes you upstairs to your bedroom, with a comfortable kind sized bed, chunky wooden furniture and a well proportioned bathroom with a fabulous power shower.

There is plenty of room to put your bits and bobs (A bug bear of mine for hotels) and a nice sense of calm, the views look out onto fields with horses and it is really quiet, so you are surrounded by modern convenience, in a homely modern setting. It's really very well done.

I hear that the village pub comes highly reccomended so intend to sample their fare on my next trip, I will definetly be stayng there again.

Room Tip: I have only stayed in the left room so far, can't wait to see the right!

“Country haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

I have stayed here a few times now and use it as my B&B on my regular trips to Oxfordshire which says it all. It is very cosy and smart and well-equipped. It is clearly newly-completed and everything is new and in excellent condition. The place is immaculately kept. The hosts (the Mullins) clearly know a thing or two about making guests feel welcome and at home and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a great bed and a wonderful bathroom with a fantastic power shower d downstairs there is a terrific flat screen tv and Wi-fi internet so I can relax but also stay connected. The mini fridge and breakfast facilities in the room are good. The village of Warborough has a great pub in walking distance (The Six Bells) for evening meals and the beer is pretty good too.The B&B overlooks a field of horses. I'd thoroughly recommend this hidden gem.

Room Tip: I have stayed in both the left hand and the right hand barn rooms and the left is slightly larger bu...

“Goodbye hotels, welcome Court Farm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

I stay in hotels a lot travelling, but hate them. Court Farm Barns is where I'll be booking in when I stay in Oxfordshire from now on. Ostensibly a B&B, its more like a luxury suite. Downstairs is a sitting room with flatscreen TV, sofas and chairs etc and a desk (with internet access) for working. Upstairs is a geat bedroom and a really well equipped bathroom / shower room. No coked breakfast, but fresh juice, croissants and jam etc, but really well done. And when I feel like a full english (hangovers) there are a few locally that are pretty good. They say its a 'home from home' and that's just what it feels like. Or it would if my home was as nice as this.

Highly recommended. I'll be back.

Room Tip: Evidently there are two of these suites. I had the one on the left which was lovely, but I think the...
