We stayed here for 2 nights with a wedding party - the wedding left from here and came back. We had nice rooms and were well looked after. We sat outside on the decking a lot of the time as it was beautiful. The baby ribs are amazing but one order can easily feed the family!!

My wife & I held an evening wedding function & stayed the night on 29/10/11 staying in the honeymoon suite. We had an excellent evening with all the staff being friendly and helpful. A special mention for Chris as he really did organise everything superbly and made sure all proceedings went without a hitch. I would deffinately recommend this hotel to everyone.

It's an old Victorian hotel built in an ornate style, the entrance hall and ballroom (similar but larger than nearby Wightwick Manor NT) are spectacular, staff friendly, breakfast average, there's no lift but the bar, which is nice, lets itself down with no real ale. The rooms are good sized, well kept and spotless but a major minus mark is only one of the three radiators worked, so the room was cold but in fairness, this was just as the Indian Summer disappeared and hopefully our complaint card will resolve that problem. For an hotel of its age, grandeur and size, it's looked after very well.

We've just got home from a fantastic family wedding. From the moment we arrived as guests we felt welcome and the staff very friendly and acomadating. They had the ceremony there in a gorgeous room with beautiful high ceilings and a balcony. The food for the wedding breakfast was amazing, good portions plenty of veg and a delicious pudding. The master of ceromonies was very good kept everyone in line and kept to good timings. Evening was just as good, buffet good plenty of it. All in all a very enjoyable day!
