We spent one night at Prospect House having not booked ahead. Our hostess was very welcoming and got us settled in the last room for the night. The place is clean and tidy and we had a nice sized room and bathroom. We were within walking distance to town. After breakfast the next morning, our host Nick gave us a run-down on the surrounding area and possible touring routes for our day. Recommended.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend in Banbury after stopping at The Prospect House for two nights. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about stopping in the area (10 minute walk to the town centre). We travelled as a group of four and had the deluxe rooms that had the conservatory. The rooms were great, clean with tea/coffee making facilities, large comfy beds and a TV with DVD player (not that we used the DVD player but I thought it was a nice touch) and the extra conservatory space made our stay extra special and provided us with plenty of room to get together and relax in the afternoon. The full English breakfast with fresh coffee was the perfect start to each day and our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had never considered stopping in B&B’s until this year but after some great experiences including this trip, they are now our first choice!

We only had one night at Prospect House and wish we ciould have stayed longer. Thank you so much, Caroline, and such a pity (for us!) that Nick was away.

I am in Banbury on a short work contract I have stayed at Prospect House since first week of July and I am still here because the place is nice they have a lovely garden and the breakfast is to die for, I have only missed it once. Rooms are clean and tidy. It is close to town and the train station. I have a bike which I live here on the weekend, they dont mind. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Banbury.
