We found this fantastic B&B by chance through the tourist information office guide and it surpassed all expectations. A lit fire on and offer of a ground floor room (+ a glass of wine) on arrival were perfect for Stuart's sprained ankle and crutches, and for me following a day of driving through perthshire's beautiful scenery. I knew this was my kind of place when Marjorie's two spaniels greeted us with a wam and noisy arrival and Humphrey the peacock sauntered across the wonderful lawns. A tasty breakfast (home made muesli, fresh fruit and the best scrambled eggs!) with Majorie in her kitchen and a shared love of Jeep Cherokees (perfect for the mile-long forest track) made our stay complete. Marjorie was a wonderful host, with a beautiful home and i can see why her guests book up again and again. Thank goodness these places still exist! Dunkeld is also a delightful village with a mouthwatering deli and gorgeous scenery.
